![]() ![]() I used a photoshopped blue, dreamy, surreal background from Ghislaine’s deviantart page. Then I placed the Clock comp in another comp consisting of the intro to the video. I keyframed the frequency and the amount of the wiggle to shake then stop the clock. An expression was used on its position to wiggle all the layers and another Null object with slider controls for the frequency and the amount were created. ![]() All the alarm clock elements was pick whipped to the Null layer. ![]() Then I keyframed the Z rotation of the Gavel Stick. I pick whipped the Gavel head to the Gavel stick. ![]() For the shaking motion of the alarm clock, I created a wiggle expression for the position of the elements to control the frequency and amount of the wiggle. Then I imported it into After Effects as a comp. Then I exported it out and imported it into Photoshop, making sure the layers that I wanted to animate were separate. I gleaned the alarm clock from Freepik and then with Illustrator I tried to decrease the many elements into very few layers as is possible. In the intro, there is a ringing alarm clock as heard in the song. I think it’s safe to assume he enjoyed the video. Acclaimed producer of Sky Ferreira’s album and this song, Justin Raisen, liked my tweet to him with the video link. This is one of my favourite songs off the album and I instantly connected with it.
